Press Release: Croydon Library’s gay section expanded

The Deputy Mayor of Croydon, Cllr Russell Jackson, will open the updated LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) section of Croydon Library on Saturday 6th February. At 12:30pm the Deputy Mayor will visit the LGBT book section on the first floor of the Central Library, Katharine Street, Croydon. He will be greeted by Andrea Hurren, Customer Services Manager for Croydon Library, who will introduce him to the Library staff and to members of Croydon Area Gay Society who have been involved with updating this facility. He will then be invited to “Cut the Rainbow Ribbon” to denote the completion of the updating process.
